PYUTHAN, March 24: Seven citizens were killed and two others were injured when a jeep met with a collision at Rumale of Swargadwari Municipality in Pyuthan on Friday morning.

The ill-fated jeep (Ba 8 Cha 1561) was taking passengers to the famed Swargadwari shrine. After the accident, passengers were rescued by the locals and the security personnel.

According to Police, Dinesh Dhwaj Basnet, 44 of Tikhedewal, Lalitpur along regarding his family members Padma Basnet, 40, Dikshya Basnet, 13, and Diha Basnet, 22, died in the accident.
