Combined with the autonomy of India in 1947, according to the terms of the Britain-India-Nepal Tripartite Agreement, six Gorkha regiments, in the past part of the British Indian Army, turned in order to be a piece of this Indian Army and have served from that point forward. The troops are ethnic Nepali Gurkhas of Nepal and ethnic Indian Gorkhas of India. They have a past filled with valor in fight, apparent inside heroism grants won by Gorkha warriors and fight respects granted to Gorkha both prior and then afterward joining the Indian Army.
