Nepal becoming a "hub" for gold smuggling

The most recent incident in the nation’s only international airport has left everyone gasping. In a most bizarre event, an individual can passed through the airport security undetected with a large cache of gold. Shedding weight gold was around 33 kilograms. Probably, this could be the first incident in which such a huge quantity gold was being smuggled out of Tribhuwan International airport. The smuggler was arrested at the main entrance gate of manchester international outside the airport terminal when he was around to hand over the precious yellow metal to other mules employed by the goal owners of the contraband. Even after arresting the gold mules, the plainclothes officials from the Central Investigation Bureau failed to find the real owner of substantial amount of gold, which raised suspicion over the efficacy as well honesty of our security and custom officials. As the person, who alighted in the TIA from an Air Arabia flight that arrived from the UAE, moved out of the airport’s heavily guarded custom point undetected was apprehended outside the airport building, the safety, security and ability for the custom officials and policemen attending the various security entry and exit belong to heavy suspicion. In the meantime, the officials who arraigned the culprit too have sounded red alert regarding the suppleness from our security and other officials responsible to stop the smugglers carrying huge amount contrabands. It is testified that someone had tipped away from the CIB whose officials ultimately arrested the “gold mule” who was smuggling the gold, probably, for benefiting from remuneration from the real owner(s) of the golden. It is surprising to know that despite laying their hands onto the huge cache of gold, our security personnel often remain unable to trace the real owners.
