Initially when i first met Yama Buddha in June 2013. Back then, I used to rap alone and was hoping for a suitable teammate. We became close friends soon after our first meeting, caused by our passion for rap music.

At that time, rappers Colin Bikram Rana and Yama Buddha used to make rap battles in Kathmandu. One day, Yama Buddha called me and said, ”You should also come to Kathmandu and participate in rap battles. We should work together and promote Nepali hip hop.”


I liked his proposal. So, I went to Kathmandu and participated typically the rap battles. We organized concerts during the country to promote ‘Nephop’, the Nepali hip-hop.

We organized concerts in Kathmandu, Nepalgunj and Pokhara. We had performed in the Nepalgunj concert one another. Two months later, we went to Dharan and participated 3 remedies concert. We also went to Pokhara.

Then, he went on the UK. Once, when I used to be in the united kingdom for a concert there were talked on the telephone though I couldn’t meet him. Lately, he ran his next album ‘Khatara’. From with regard to you time, we used to go over ways to promote Nepali rap music.

I which is used to talk to Yama Buddha not much more than music but also about to take care of and family lives. Once, I, Yam Budhha and his awesome wife had visited Pokhara together. Those beautiful moments are still afresh inside my memory.

Yama Buddha has developed significant contribution to bring Nepali rap where ought to today. He should be credited to take the Nepali rap music from streets to a professional level. Everyone from children and preserve to even old people listen to rap nowadays. The credit for this, to a large extent, goes toward talented rappers like Yama Buddha.

He was an optimistic man with positive planning. I remember Yama Buddha as a friendly, hardworking, emotional and responsible gentleman. He was a sensitive person who be happy as well as sad over small things. Identified it almost impossible to suspect that Yama Buddha is not any longer with anyone. I feel great pain for losing a talented singer and a noticeably good roomie.
