Ashish Rana (born June 25, 1989) is a Nepalese rapper and actor popular by his stage name - Laure. He presented his rapping via a rap battle on YouTube which gained him marketability. He was the most searched for Nepalese celebrity on Google in the year the year 2013.

Ashish Rana was given birth on June 25, 1989 in Pokhara, Nepal. Since Grade 6, Laure developed a keen interest in singing. He completed his school life from the LA Higher Secondary School, then his university from Sagarmatha Student.[1] His rapping career began through his song Mero Solta, the first song he recorded and uploaded for a mobile phone.
