Former King Gyanendra Shah claims that though he left the Naryanhiti Royal Palace in the given situation, he still feels to blame for the nation and its people.
Issuing a statement on the eve of Prithivi Jayanti, the birth anniversary of King Prithivi Narayan Shah, the first kind King also claimed that the Nepali people’s wish recently been the monarchy’s wish in Nepal.
“It is worth remembering that in this particular country with traditions of the people’s wish being the monarchy’s wish, we left the Naryanhiti Palace also globe view of an increased back then. However, we have never forgotten and we will never forget our responsibilities for the people and the country,” the statement reads, “Not even 10 years has passed and find ourselves within a critical juncture the question is not whether Nepal will progress, but whether it will exist.”
